Immiscible

This series explores the idea of immiscibility and its messy boundaries. When two liquids are immiscible, on vigorous shaking, there is an expanse of time when the liquids are friendly and even trespassing with ease before their differences emerge and the liquids slowly separate out into two before settling on a common boundary, visually speaking. This is the idea I’m trying to tease out in the variations of the work, Immiscible.
